A Welcoming Members' Club With Traditional Values

Nevill Golf Club is set in 170 acres of tranquil parkland with mature trees, water features and sweeping views across Sussex countryside.

Our Culture: 

As important as the course and its setting are, it’s the friendliness and inclusiveness of its membership.

Our playing membership is capped at 650 members so to ensure that members have ready access to the course. All members are equal owners of the club with equal voting rights and all have an important say in the running and future of the club.

Membership across all categories remain full and new applications are welcomed although held on a waiting list is in place until June 2024 at the earliest.

Fees will be confirmed upon request, and please note the entry fee is non-negotiable.

If you do not have a proposer or seconder then you would be applying for a 6-month 'Provisional Membership'. This entails playing with 10 members over the first 6 months who would endorse you for your full application for full membership.

Applications with proposers/seconders should contact the GM directly.

Full members are required to have an appropriate level of golfing experience although if you are new to the game or would like more experience before joining, our excellent Academy programme may be an ideal way to start. This Academy, run by our Head Professional, provides a structured golf tuition programme, use of the practice facilities and access to the course at off peak times.

The Nevill Academy provides both new and inexperienced golfers with the opportunity to develop their golfing skills.

Open to both Men and Ladies, Academy membership provides a personal programme consisting of:

• A comprehensive lesson package with our PGA Head Professional
• Introductions to the etiquette and rules of golf
• Play on the golf course at agreed regulated times
• Unlimited use of the practice facilities

Academy Membership runs for one year and is designed to prepare members for Full Membership, once an agreed playing standard has been achieved.

Juniors

Junior Golf At The Wall

Nevill has a large active Junior Section, which gives junior members the chance to develop their golfing talents to the best of their ability. The club allows for a safe, friendly and fun environment where relationships with their peers and all club members can be easily made offering lots of organised events for both social and competitive golf.

Junior membership includes:

• Unlimited rounds of golf
• Full use of the practice facilities
• Membership swipe card & bag tag
• CONGU handicap

Junior Academy

Our  Junior Academy is the perfect way for children aged 8-18 to learn to play golf and improve their game. The academy is a fun and safe environment for juniors learning the basics of golf from the swing to etiquette on the course, the perfect way to transition into junior membership. Lessons can be booked either individually or in a group, through the P.G.A. qualified Head Professional’s Elliott Owens and Zac Robinson. For more information please call the Pro Shop on 01892 525818.
