Visitors & Societies

Visitors - Visitors are only allowed to play at weekends and Bank Holidays under exceptional circumstances.  To allow club members the greatest freedom in tee times, members introducing a green fee at the weekend are urged to avoid the busiest tee times.

Visitors need to be members of a recognised golf club and have a current handicap certificate or letter of introduction from their Secretary.  Visitors playing with Nevill members are excepted from this requirement.  A green fee introduced by, and playing with, a Nevill member will pay the fee above.  No visitor can play at a reduced green fee more than six times in a calendar year.

Juniors - Junior visitors (under age of 18) may play the course provided they produce a letter of introduction from the Secretary of their own club stating that they possess a handicap of 24 or better.  They will then be required to pay half the full green fee as laid down above.

Junior members may introduce other juniors as visitors, provided they produce a letter of introduction and a certificate of handicap.  They will then pay a green fee of half the full rate as laid down above.

Junior members are not permitted to introduce adult visitors.

Overseas members - Overseas members are allowed 10 days of golf in any one calendar year without paying a green fee, but must enter their names in the green fee book.  An overseas member playing more than the allowed 10 days will have to pay half the full green fee shown above.

County Cards - Visitors whoe are members of the Sussex County Golf Union or Sussex County Ladies Golf Association can play the course paying only the rate above.  In both cases it is important that a signature is placed against the 'Nevill' on the cards by the person taking the green fee.
